When it comes to edibles, I’m usually looking for one of two things - either something light and functional, or something that helps me completely shut things off at the end of the day.
These fall firmly into the second category...
I'd not heard of these marvelous chacoloates when my budtender recommended them, saying that they sold out quickly every time they were in stock. Interested in trying something new, I gave them a try and they quickly became something I’ve gone back to multiple times. There aren’t many edibles that genuinely hit me like these do anymore - these definitely did.
If you’re looking for something to help you wind down, relax, and fully disconnect, these are worth a look.

Rating Breakdown...
Flavor/Taste - 9/10
Tastes great. Leans heavily toward dark chocolate with a noticeable espresso finish. Slightly bitter, but in a way that works really well with the overall flavor.
Texture/Mouthfeel - 8/10
Smooth, buttery chocolate with some subtle graininess (likely espresso or sugar crystals). Adds a nice texture and actually enhances the experience.
Ease of Dosing - 8/10
Each chocolate is already broken into individual pieces, which makes dosing simple and consistent.
Potency/Strength - 9/10
These are strong. Not borderline - actually strong. Had me laughing, fully relaxed, and if I let myself settle into it… asleep pretty quickly.
Effect Onset Time - 9/10
Kicks in a bit faster than average. Chocolate-based edibles tend to absorb a little more efficiently, and that seems to be the case here. Now throw in the RSO as well and you have a great combo.
Duration of Effects - 9/10
Long-lasting effects. Expect a solid 5+ hours without much drop-off.
Travelability - 8/10
Comes in a durable case, which is great. Only downside is the obvious one - chocolate and heat don’t mix.
Value - 8/10
$35 for the strength and overall quality feels fair. Not cheap, but definitely justified.
Packaging/Branding - 8/10
Nice sturdy packaging case with individually separated pieces and an inner liner to prevent sticking. Feels clean, professional, and well put together.
Uniqueness/Novelty/Overall Experience - 8/10
Feels like a bit of a local hidden gem. Not something I see widely available, and it tends to sell out quickly when it’s in stock.
Final Thoughts – 8.4/10 Overall
I didn’t expect these to become something I’d keep going back to, but they did.
The first time I tried them, it was at night after a long day - just looking to relax a bit. What I got instead was one of those edibles that completely shuts things off. Not in a heavy, overwhelming way… just a smooth transition into not caring about anything work-related and fully settling into the moment.
Despite the “espresso” name, there’s no real energy component here. If anything, it leans the opposite direction. These are the kind of edibles where if you sit down and get comfortable, you might not be getting back up for a while. I found myself laughing more, zoning into whatever I was watching, and eventually just falling asleep without even realizing it.
That’s what stood out most - consistency. Every time I’ve taken these, they’ve delivered that same strong, relaxing, slightly sedating experience. There aren’t many edibles that still hit like that for me.
The chocolates themselves feel more premium than most. The flavor is driven by cocoa flavors with a noticeable espresso finish, and the slight graininess actually adds to the texture in a good way. I also really like that they’re broken into individual pieces - makes dosing simple and removes any guesswork.
That said, these aren’t for everyone. If you’re newer to edibles or looking for something functional, this probably isn’t it. These are best suited for nights when you’re done with everything and just want to unwind.
For me, they’ve become a go-to for exactly that.
Pros
Strong, reliable effects that are perfect for winding down
Long-lasting (4+ hours)
Great chocolate + espresso flavor with minimal cannabis taste
Premium feel with solid packaging (durable case + individual pieces)
Easy, consistent dosing
Faster onset than typical edibles
Cons
Not beginner-friendly due to potency
More sedating than the “espresso” name might suggest
Can melt in warmer environments
Not ideal for productivity or daytime use
Quick Takeaways
Strong, night-time edible - best for unwinding, not for productivity
Smooth dark chocolate + espresso flavor with very little cannabis taste
Consistently powerful effects that lean relaxing and sedating
Faster onset than most edibles with long-lasting effects (5+ hours)
Better suited for experienced users due to higher potency
